Exterior and Interior

The Avatr 12 is a full-sized electric hatchback featuring the brand’s signature design language. It is equipped with dual-level running lights with high beams integrated into the front bumper. The Avatr 12 does not have a rear windshield; instead, it boasts a massive roof hatch that serves as a rear window. Optionally, it can be fitted with cameras in place of rear-view mirrors. Its dimensions are 5020/1999/1460 mm with a wheelbase of 3020 mm. For perspective, it is 29 mm shorter, 62 mm wider, and 37 mm lower than the Porsche Panamera, with a wheelbase that is 70 mm longer. It is available in eight matte and glossy body colors.

Inside, the Avatr 12 features a massive screen spanning the central console, measuring 35.4 inches in diameter. It also includes a 15.6-inch touchscreen based on HarmonyOS 4. Additionally, the Avatr 12 is equipped with 27 speakers and a 64-color exterior lighting system. It also has a small octagonal steering wheel with a gear shift lever positioned behind it. If you opt for the side-view camera, you'll also get two additional 6.7-inch monitors. The central tunnel includes two wireless charging pads and a hidden compartment. Its seats are upholstered in Nappa leather, with the front seats capable of reclining to 114 degrees. They are heated, ventilated, and equipped with an 8-point massage function. Avatr 12 also features an advanced autonomous driving system with three LiDAR sensors, supporting intelligent navigation on highways and in urban areas, meaning the car can operate autonomously. The driver only needs to select the destination and monitor the driving process.

Powertrain

The Avatr 12 is based on the CHN platform, developed by Changan, Huawei, and CATL. Its chassis features air suspension, enhancing comfort and allowing it to be raised by 45 mm. Avatr 12 is equipped with an active CDC damping system.

The Avatr 12 powertrain comes in two variants: Rear-wheel drive: 313 hp, 370 Nm torque, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds, CATL NMC 94.5 kWh battery, range of 700 km according to CLTC. All-wheel drive: 4WD, 578 hp, 650 Nm torque, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, CATL NMC 94.5 kWh battery, range of 650 km according to CLTC.
